Job Summary

Senior Tax Liaison within PNC's Trust Tax Compliance and Estate Liaison teams; remote-based role based in the PNC footprint. Responsibilities include coordinating with outside vendors to prepare tax returns, reviewing returns prior to filing, ensuring correct tax reporting across fiduciary accounts, reviewing trust instruments and wills for proper reporting, handling tax notices and audits, and aiding in complex GS tax reviews. Requires CPA, Enrolled Agent, or JD designation (or ability to obtain within one year), and trust/estate tax experience. Works with tax preparers and fiduciary advisors, codes new accounts, and supports compliance and training activities; occasional in-office participation may be required. Strong analytical, regulatory knowledge (GAAP, tax regulations), and communication skills are essential; remote work permissible in select locations with approval.

Required Qualifications

  • Trust and Estate Tax experience
  • Generation Skipping Tax review experience
  • ability to analyze trust agreements for correct state filings and tax recording
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred or equivalent experience (credential-based requirement: CPA/EA/JD)
  • Ability to coordinate with outside vendor and internal teams; attention to detail; strong communication
