Job Summary
Prepare 1099s, W-2s, individual income tax returns, and extensions using a highly technical paperless computer system while becoming proficient in CaseWare and CCH Axcess software. Gain a basic understanding of how tax work flows through the office and improve organizational and planning skills. This hands-on experience prepares students for a transition into their careers within Insero's public accounting firm, offering training, mentorship, and opportunities to explore various compliance and consulting services in Rochester or Ithaca, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Accounting students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and in their sophomore through senior year
- Enrolled in a graduate accounting degree program
- Students must be returning to school
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Functional knowledge of the MS Office Suite including Word and Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Proactive attitude
- Solid multi-tasking skills
- Strong analytical ability
