Job Summary
Prepare work papers, trial balances, depreciation schedules, and engagement correspondence while entering data for computer applications. Assist professional staff in gathering data for tax return preparation, maintaining the tax library, and managing client tax and auditing files. This role requires enrollment in an accredited accounting program, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. The intern will work cooperatively within a team at a nationally recognized accounting and advisory firm known for client-focused solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be enrolled as a student in an accredited college or university with a major in accounting
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Must have a high degree of discretion dealing with confidential information
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
