Job Summary
Tax Intern supports a variety of tax engagements by preparing fiduciary (1041) and individual (1040) tax returns, assisting with extensions, gathering and organizing client financial data, and learning IRS codes/regulations. The role emphasizes collaboration to meet deadlines, participation in training sessions to expand knowledge of tax law, and maintaining confidentiality and professionalism while contributing to high-quality deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in accounting, finance, or a related field
- A GPA of 3.0 or above
- Availability to work full-time (40-55 hours per week)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
