Job Summary
Conduct full-service tax return preparation, providing expert advice, calculations, and software support for personal and business clients while facilitating discovery sessions to uncover deductions and maximize refunds. Act as a trusted advisor connecting customers with complementary services like bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning to deliver a seamless end-to-end Intuit experience. Proactively grow the local client base by identifying prospects, organizing community events, and establishing long-term relationships through in-person and virtual interactions.
Required Qualifications
- EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws
- Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency-based up-skilling, cross-training of other products or offerings, and professional development
- Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms
- Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising on goggle
- Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit's policies
- Must reside within the United States
- Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
Desired Qualifications
- Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills
