Job Summary
Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations involving personal and business income, deductions optimization, and amendments. Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions and provide future tax planning advice while connecting clients to complementary services like bookkeeping and payroll within the full Intuit ecosystem. Act as a proactive community ambassador by identifying prospects, organizing local events such as financial literacy workshops, and driving customer loyalty to grow the local TurboTax client base. Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through in-person and virtual interactions, demonstrating empathy and sensitivity to clients' financial concerns to build long-term trust.
Required Qualifications
- EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws
- Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency-based up-skilling, cross-training of other products or offerings, and professional development
- Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms
- Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising on goggle
- Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit's policies
- Must reside within the United States
- Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
Desired Qualifications
- Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills
