Job Summary
Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations including personal and business income, deductions optimization, and amendments. Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions and maximize refunds, then connect clients with complementary services like bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning to deliver a seamless, end-to-end Intuit experience. Act as a proactive community ambassador by owning your local market, identifying prospects through targeted outreach and grassroots marketing, and organizing events such as financial literacy workshops to drive new client growth. Build long-term trust by interacting with customers in-person and via video tools, demonstrating empathy for their financial concerns to turn one-time transactions into loyal, multi-year relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
- Proficiency with professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Willingness to wear Intuit provided uniforms
- Willingness to use name and picture for advertising on Google
- Must reside within the United States
- Possession or ability to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location
- Availability primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday
- Commitment to a minimum of 20 hours per week
