Job Summary
Conduct full-service tax return preparation and provide expert advice for personal and business clients, utilizing software and team resources to optimize deductions and manage complex scenarios like life events or amendments. Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover opportunities while connecting clients with complementary services such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning to deliver a seamless end-to-end experience. Act as a proactive community ambassador by driving local growth through targeted outreach, grassroots marketing, and organizing events like financial literacy workshops to build long-term client relationships. Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through in-person and virtual interactions, demonstrating empathy and professionalism to turn one-time transactions into multi-year partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws
- Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency-based up-skilling, cross-training of other products or offerings, and professional development
- Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms
- Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising on goggle
- Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit's policies
- Must reside within the United States
- Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds

- Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills
- Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
