Job Summary
Provide full-service tax return preparation, expert advice, and calculations for personal and business clients while facilitating discovery sessions to uncover deductions and maximize refunds. Act as a community ambassador by driving local growth through targeted outreach, organizing financial literacy workshops, and converting prospects into loyal, long-term clients. Champion the full Intuit ecosystem by connecting clients with complementary services like bookkeeping and payroll to ensure a seamless, end-to-end experience. Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through in-person and virtual interactions, building trust and sensitivity to help clients achieve financial goals.
Required Qualifications
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
- Proficiency with professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Willingness to wear Intuit provided uniforms
- Willingness to use name and picture for advertising on Google
- Must reside within the United States
- Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location
- Must be available primarily between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday
- Must be willing to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently while managing multiple priorities
- Proficiency with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
Desired Qualifications
- EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws
- Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert
- Creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills
- Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
- Passion for empowering customers and helping them overcome the complexities of taxation
