Job Summary
Conduct full-service tax return preparation, providing expert advice, calculations, and software support for personal and business clients. Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions and maximize refunds while connecting customers with complementary services like bookkeeping and financial planning. Act as a proactive community ambassador by identifying prospects, organizing local events, and driving growth through grassroots marketing and networking. Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through in-person and virtual interactions, building long-term trust to convert one-time transactions into loyal, multi-year relationships.
Required Qualifications
- EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws
- Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency-based up-skilling, cross-training of other products or offerings, and professional development
- Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms
- Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising on goggle
- Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit's policies
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills
- Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
- Must reside within the United States
- Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
