Job Summary
Weaver seeks a talented tax leader at the Director or Managing Director level to provide federal tax compliance and consulting services to large middle-market and public companies. The ideal candidate should be a CPA with 9+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning, and consulting. Responsibilities include creating new business, mentoring future leaders, and executing engagements in Manufacturing, Technology, Healthcare, Professional Services, and Construction. Strong business development skills and a passion for client service are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA with 9+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning and consulting at a public accounting firm
- Technical knowledge sufficient to sell and execute engagements in a variety of industries
- Ability to attract and service new clients
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Proven ability to build teams, manage, mentor and develop staff
- Strong relationship management and practice development skills
- Passionate client service
