Job Summary
Lead and manage the tax department, reviewing and signing corporate, partnership, individual, and trust tax returns and projections, including multi-state filings. Oversee timely delivery of filings and tax planning initiatives, mentor staff, and build client relationships by attending meetings with Partners. Collaborate with departments, liaise with state and federal agencies, support audits, and ensure deadlines are met while maintaining quality standards. Requires deep tax knowledge across individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, and trusts, with proficiency in CCH Axcess/ProSystem and GAAP familiarity. Extended hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related business field (3.0 GPA or better)
- Proficiency with CCH Axcess/ProSystem
- Understanding of GAAP
- 5+ years of experience leading a team of tax professionals
- 7+ years of related tax experience at a public accounting firm/or family office
- Extensive experience with real estate and partnership tax compliance and consulting preferred

- CPA preferred
