Job Summary
As a Senior Manager in the Global Trade and Customs team, you will lead and manage a client portfolio while developing new business relationships and service offerings. Responsibilities include motivating and mentoring your team, managing client projects, and utilizing business acumen to assist clients in navigating complexities in global trade. You will contribute to ensuring compliance with trade regulations and support clients in maintaining competitive pricing despite changes in customs duties. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to business development.
Required Qualifications
- Over 8 years in a Global Trade and Customs role
- At least 5 years at manager level
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent delegation skills
- Ability to manage and develop junior members of the team
- Ability to extract insights from market trends
Desired Qualifications
- Strong academic record with a Degree in accounting, economics, finance, or law
- Excellent business development and relationship management skills
- Proven record in building a team with the capacity and capability to deliver
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
