Job Summary
Prepare and review federal tax returns for partnerships and corporations while managing multiple concurrent assignments of varying sizes and complexity. Utilize CCH Axcess, Prosystem Fx Engagement, and Gofile room to process provisions-focused work, ensuring grammatical accuracy in all written and verbal communications. Collaborate with team members and managers in the office, adapting to flexible hours during key client or team meetings. Maintain a strong work ethic as a self-starter who independently researches resources and develops new concepts, demonstrating initiative and effective problem-solving skills within the growing firm.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 6 or 6+ years of public accounting experience
- Proficient in CCH Axcess, Prosystem Fx Engagement, Gofile room
- Experience in Preparing/ Reviewing federal tax returns –Partnership and Corporate returns
- Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills
- Independent training and self-development, including researching and self-involving based on available resources
- Fluent writing and verbal skills in English, including grammatical accuracy
- Willing to work in office with team members and managers
- Problem solving skills and able to work independently successfully
- Ability to grasp new concepts
- Able to work flexible hours when key client or team meetings are needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Accounting, or related field is preferred
- EA, CPA, CPA candidate, CA or CA candidate
- Knowledge/experience of Manufacturing/Professional Service/Construction/Healthcare industry along with knowledge in Tax Journal entries & knowledge Tax adjustments
- Strong knowledge of excel and formula usage wherever applicable
