Tax & Audit Intern

Job Summary
Gain hands-on experience in public accounting through the Tax & Audit Spring Internship. Responsibilities include developing a foundational understanding of trial balances and general ledgers, preparing fixed asset depreciation schedules, inputting client trial balances within tax software, managing engagement time effectively, preparing individual and business tax returns, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or Master's program, be able to work full time, and possess strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Sophomore, Junior or Senior undergrad or enrolled in Master's program
- Must be able to work 40 hours a week
- Must be willing to work up to 50 hours a week early March through April 15th
- Basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of Tax curriculum prior to internship is preferred.
Additional Requirements
