Job Summary

Represent TurboTax locally as a proactive community ambassador by engaging new prospects, nurturing leads, and converting them into long-term clients through in-person and virtual interactions. Provide full-service tax expertise by delivering hands-on advice, completing return preparations, and facilitating discovery sessions to uncover deductions and maximize refunds. Deliver a best-in-class customer experience by building trust, addressing inquiries, and helping clients overcome tax challenges while showcasing Intuit's presence at local events. This seasonal or year-round role requires onsite presence at a TurboTax location in Los Angeles, with availability Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted credentials: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney
  • Strong tax preparation experience
  • Extensive knowledge of tax laws
  • Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
  • Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
  • Experience using professional tax preparation software
  • Familiarity with Circular 230
  • Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
  • Availability Sunday through Saturday
  • Minimum of 20 hours per week
  • Must reside within the United States
  • Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
  • Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment
