Job Summary
Provide full-service tax return preparation, calculations, and software support to in-person customers while delivering personalized tax advice and future planning guidance. Engage with prospects to convert them into long-term clients, nurture local leads, and represent TurboTax as a proactive community ambassador through local marketing and accessible tax education. Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions and minimize liabilities, utilizing government resources and team expertise to deliver accurate solutions in everyday language. Build lasting trust by connecting with clients on a personal level to foster loyalty and drive a thriving local client base.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license
- Strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
- Experience using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Availability Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment
