Job Summary
Provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software support to in-person customers using Intuit TurboTax products. Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, and maximize refunds while delivering personalized financial guidance. Act as a proactive community ambassador by engaging prospects, nurturing leads, and converting them into long-term clients through local marketing efforts. Build trust to transform one-time transactions into loyal, multi-year relationships, addressing inquiries and helping clients overcome tax challenges both in-person and via video tools. Work onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license
- Strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Must be available Sunday through Saturday
- Must be available for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment
