Job Summary
Serve in-person customers at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location by providing full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software support. Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, and maximize refunds while delivering personalized financial planning. Act as a proactive community ambassador to engage prospects, nurture leads, and convert them into long-term clients through local marketing efforts. This role requires onsite presence Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours per week, with operating hours scaling during peak demand. Candidates must hold an active EA, CPA, or attorney license along with a PTIN. Intuit offers a competitive pay-for-performance package, including a base range of $32.50–$36.00 in New York, plus bonuses, equity, and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license
- Strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Must be available Sunday through Saturday
- Must be available for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment
