Job Summary
Conduct in-person tax return preparation, provide full service tax advice, and handle calculations for simple to complex individual and business situations. Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions and maximize refunds while delivering personalized solutions using professional tools. Act as a proactive community ambassador by engaging new prospects, nurturing leads, and converting them into long-term clients through local marketing efforts. Build lasting trust with customers to foster loyalty and drive growth within the local community.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license
- Strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Must be available Sunday through Saturday
- Must be available for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment
