Job Summary
Represent TurboTax locally by engaging with new prospects, nurturing leads, and converting them into long-term clients through proactive community outreach and local event leadership. Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for clients, handling simple to complex situations including deductions optimization and tax planning. Deliver exceptional customer experiences by connecting personally to build trust and turning one-time transactions into loyal, multi-year relationships, interacting both in-person and virtually. Work onsite at a TurboTax location Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted credentials: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney
- Strong tax preparation experience
- Extensive knowledge of tax laws
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
- Experience using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Availability Sunday through Saturday
- Minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment
