Job Summary
Assist with preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns and related workpapers; prepare apportionment data for state filings; assist with estimated payments and extensions; respond to federal/state tax notices and audit inquiries; prepare the U.S. income tax provision, tax basis balance sheet, and tax modeling; reconcile deferred tax balances and perform book-to-tax adjustments; conduct tax research related to federal and state matters; support process and technology improvement initiatives within the tax function; perform special projects and ad hoc analysis; open office environment with four days in the office and overtime during peak periods.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- 0 - 2+ years of experience in corporate tax or public accounting
- Basic understanding of income tax concepts and accounting principles
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
