Tax Analyst

Job Summary
Prepare corporate income tax returns, review sales tax filings, and calculate instalment payments while ensuring compliance with filing deadlines and regulatory requirements. Liaise with external advisors, lead tax audits, and coordinate data collection with internal stakeholders to develop supporting positions and mitigate risks. Provide guidance on indirect tax matters, analyze variances, and support business units on tax-related transactions. Act as the primary contact for tax authorities and advisors. This role requires a CPA designation and five years of relevant experience, with bilingual communication skills in French and English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant field
- CPA designation (completed)
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Minimum 3 years in tax functions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – both written and verbal in French and English, and the ability to develop relationships at all levels in the organization. The position holder will be required to communicate regularly with clients, management and colleagues located outside Quebec.
