Job Summary
Prepare federal and state tax returns for clients, offering personalized advice on deductions, liability minimization, and future tax planning. Conduct discovery sessions to uncover opportunities while maximizing refunds, utilizing government resources and team expertise to deliver accurate solutions. Engage with prospects through proactive outreach and local events to convert leads into long-term clients, fostering trust via in-person and virtual interactions. Represent TurboTax as a community fixture by leading local marketing initiatives and creating accessible tax content. Maintain a flexible 25–34 hour weekly schedule including evenings and weekends, with the ability to increase hours during peak seasons.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney
- Strong tax preparation experience
- Extensive knowledge of tax laws
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
- Experience using professional tax preparation software
- Full availability for a flexible 25–34 hour weekly schedule, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to increase hours during peak seasons
- Must reside within the United States
- Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
Desired Qualifications

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills
- Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
