Job Summary
Tax Expert – Retail On-Site at a TurboTax location in the United States on a seasonal basis. Provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support both in-person and virtually; lead local outreach, engage prospects, and build long-term client relationships in the local community; leverage TurboTax marketing and software to deliver customer-centric tax solutions; serve as a public-facing ambassador for TurboTax; required credentials (EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with PTIN) and 3+ years of tax-return experience; flexible 25–34 hour weekly schedule including evenings/weekends; bilingual skills a plus; strong communication, customer-service, and entrepreneurial mindset; onsite in Fort Worth, TX with hybrid remote/work-from-home potential.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with tax preparation experience and active PTIN
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 50+ federal/state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must reside within the United States
- Full availability for a flexible 25–34 hour weekly schedule including afternoons, evenings, and weekends, with potential for more hours during peak seasons
