Job Summary
Provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, and calculations for in-person customers using TurboTax products. Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, and maximize refunds while addressing unique client situations. Act as a proactive community ambassador by engaging prospects, nurturing leads, and driving local client acquisition through marketing support. Deliver personalized financial guidance on topics like retirement, college funds, and business income, building long-term trust to convert one-time transactions into multi-year relationships. Work onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license
- Strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Must be available Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment

- Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit's policies
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills
- Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
