Job Summary
Provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, and calculations for customers using Intuit TurboTax products while facilitating discovery sessions to uncover deductions and maximize refunds. Serve as a proactive community ambassador by engaging new prospects, nurturing leads, and participating in local marketing efforts to build long-term client relationships. Deliver personalized financial guidance in everyday language, addressing inquiries and helping clients overcome tax challenges through both in-person interactions and video communication tools. Maintain onsite presence at a TurboTax retail or flagship location from Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours per week, adhering to operating hours that may scale during peak demand.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license
- Strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Must be available Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment
