Job Summary
Tax Expert – Retail On-Site at a TurboTax location, seasonally onsite in the United States. Provide full-service tax preparation, tax advice, and software/product support to TurboTax clients both in-person and virtually; engage in local marketing, lead generation, and building long-term customer relationships; represent TurboTax in the community and drive client growth while leveraging Intuit’s marketing support and TurboTax software. Requires active credentials (EA/CPA/Attorney) and PTIN, and 3+ years of paid tax-return filing experience; flexible 25–34 hour weekly schedule with weekends/evenings availability; bilingual English/Spanish a plus; based in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws and active PTIN
- Active PTIN as required by law to file taxes
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 50+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must reside within the United States
- Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
