Job Summary
Tax Expert Retail On-Site at an Intuit TurboTax location (seasonal) focused on growing TurboTax client relationships through on-site and virtual tax services. Responsibilities include providing hands-on tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software/product support; leading and participating in local events; engaging with prospects to convert them into long-term clients; delivering a best-in-class customer experience and building a local and online community presence. Requires active, unrestricted credential (EA, CPA, or practicing attorney) with a PTIN; minimum 3 years of experience filing 50+ federal/state 1040 returns; familiarity with Circular 230; ability to work a flexible 2534 hour weekly schedule; reside in the United States; and comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Demonstrates strong customer service, communication, and entrepreneurial skills to grow a local customer portfolio. Additional duties include leveraging marketing resources and video tools to reach clients and using tax software/CRM tools for service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience
- Active PTIN
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 50+ federal/state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must reside within the United States
- Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses/certificates/permits/bonds
- Proficiency with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
- Ability to work flexible hours including afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Entrepreneurial, community-focused mindset
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
- Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
