Job Summary
Tax Accountant will prepare and review tax returns for individuals, LLCs, S corporations, and C corporations, and provide advisory support including tax planning and exposure to estate, succession, and retirement planning. The role emphasizes client communication, collaboration in a cloud-based environment, and opportunities to grow in tax and financial planning. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (MBA preferred) and at least 3 years of tax preparation experience; must be proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Ultra Tax; strong tax knowledge and research, plus excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. This is a remote position based in Duluth, GA, with a collaborative, technology-driven office environment and a focus on client service.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (MBA preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of tax preparation experience
- Strong technical tax knowledge and research skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, Ultra Tax
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized
