Job Summary
Tax Accountant role focusing on indirect taxes (70%) and direct taxes (30%), including global VAT/GST compliance, U.S. sales/use tax, and international income tax reporting. Responsibilities include filings, reconciliations, nexus analysis, audits, and cross-team collaboration to ensure proper tax treatment; drive process improvements and automation in indirect tax reporting; assist with federal/state income tax compliance, international tax reporting (Forms 5471, 8858), ASC 740 provisions, and transfer pricing documentation; contribute to tax planning and technical issue research. Requires proficiency in Excel, NetSuite, FloQast, and exposure to tax automation tools. Hybrid work model with on-site in Westlake/Dallas, TX Tuesday–Thursday and remote Mondays/Fridays. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred or in progress)
- 3-5+ years of relevant tax experience (public accounting and/or industry)
