Job Summary
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax filings for the firm and related entities, managing recurring areas such as state tax credits, property tax, and fixed assets. Support tax planning initiatives by identifying risks and opportunities, assist with audits and regulatory inquiries, and partner with internal teams to gather and validate financial data. Contribute to process improvements and maintain thorough documentation while working closely with the Senior Tax Accountant and firm leadership. This full-time role offers a sustainable pace without billable-hour demands for a tax professional with at least three years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- At least three years of relevant tax experience
- Strong understanding of both federal and state tax concepts
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to collaborate across teams
Desired Qualifications
- CPA designation
- Active progress toward obtaining a CPA designation
