Job Summary
Ensure completion of sales and use tax reporting and review monthly data for return preparation. Prepare detailed federal income tax computations, including book/tax differences, and assist with quarterly estimated payments and extensions. Serve as a resource for global tax compliance across all tax types and jurisdictions, overseeing audits and managing relationships with outsourced providers. Manage fixed asset accounting procedures, tax reconciliations, and journal entries while supporting transfer pricing strategy implementation. Collaborate with IT and vendors on tax software upgrades and work with internal teams to develop policies and workflows. Continuously monitor regulatory changes, analyze risks, and document recommendations to minimize compliance exposure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 3-5 years accounting and tax experience
- CPA
- Fixed asset software experience (BNA Fixed Assets, Fixed Asset CS, or similar)
- Indirect tax experience
- International tax experience
- SAP or other ERP system experience
- Strong accounting and tax knowledge
- Analytical skills
- Attention to detail, organized and desire for continuous improvement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to express complex technical issues in understandable terms
- Ability to understand business activities with a view broader than just finance and tax
- Experience using information technology financial applications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Unquestionable integrity and discretion
- Ability to communicate in a variety of business settings
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to utilize a PC
Desired Qualifications
