Job Summary
Seasonal Tax Expert – Retail On-Site at a TurboTax location. Provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software/product support to clients in-person and virtually. Lead local outreach, nurture prospects, and grow TurboTax’s client base while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Represent TurboTax locally, conduct discovery sessions, tax reviews, and community-style events. On-site role requiring 25–34 hours per week with afternoons/evenings/weekends, active credentials (EA/CPA/Practicing Attorney) with PTIN, 3+ years of tax return preparation experience, familiarity with Circular 230, and proficiency with tax software and CRM tools. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; must reside in the United States and be eligible for related licenses. Location: Oak Park, IL, USA.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience
- Active PTIN
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 50+ federal/state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must reside within the United States
- Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses/certificates/permits/bonds
Desired Qualifications
