Tax Accountant

Direct the sales and use tax activities for Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Co., based at Oak Brook HQ. Responsibilities include assisting in preparing and reviewing sales and use tax reporting, performing monthly reconciliations between government and company records, maintaining an accurate tax records database and adjusting tax accounts as needed, creating internal tax forecasting documents, collaborating across the company to ensure state and local filings compliance, assisting on federal/state audits, responding to state notices, and maintaining the tax calendar. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA preferred) and 4–7+ years of related experience in manufacturing, distribution, or consumer goods industries; experience with Sales Tax Exemption; familiarity with blanket and job exemption certificates, and strong skills in Microsoft Office and Vertex. Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $123,000 USD annually.
