Job Summary
Plan and deliver age-appropriate soccer coaching sessions for children in a safe, engaging environment while leading drills, games, and skill-building activities. Maintain a positive, high-energy atmosphere throughout all sessions and adapt techniques to meet diverse age groups and skill levels. Communicate effectively with parents regarding player progress and program updates while setting up and breaking down equipment at various locations across the SE Massachusetts area. Uphold Soccer Shots' curriculum, values, and coaching standards at all times. The role requires CPR/First Aid certification, reliable transportation for regional travel, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, and weekends. A background check is required. Soccer Shots is a nationally recognized youth soccer program dedicated to delivering character-building experiences for children.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for working with children and a natural ability to connect with young athletes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both kids and parents
- Reliable transportation to travel to program sites across the SE Massachusetts region
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Background check required
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in soccer coaching, youth sports instruction, or child development preferred
