Job Summary
Provide direct intervention services to students performing below grade level to ensure accelerated student growth. Deliver intervention in small group and/or one-on-one instructional settings, and provide leadership to curriculum, instruction, assessment, and standards. Administer and analyze diagnostic assessments and progress-monitoring data; coordinate intensive assistance plans and resources for students receiving services. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and update components of the CSIP; maintain a positive rapport with families and staff; communicate with families and staff in multiple languages or in the process of acquiring language skills. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and a valid Kentucky Teaching Certificate; Master’s degree preferred; three years of classroom teaching experience preferred. Able to participate in professional learning and perform other duties as assigned; 189-day calendar; 1.0 FTE position. EOE.
