Job Summary
Greet and educate guests on wine, the industry, and local tourism while serving wine and food to promote sales of Trump wine, Wine Club, merchandise, and events. Execute opening and closing duties, process POS transactions, and assist guests with purchases. Clean, organize, and stock the Tasting Room, restrooms, kitchen, patio, office, and parking lot. Respond intelligently to questions regarding winemaking and Albemarle Estate. Work independently and in a team environment, handling multiple tasks while lifting 50 lbs and standing for extended periods. Attend scheduled training and perform daily cleaning to ensure business efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Ability to interact with guests with all levels of wine knowledge
- Must have an interest in learning about wine
- Flexible availability to include weekends and holidays
- Can handle multiple tasks at one time
- Communicates professionally in person and on the phone
- Is passionate about selling food and wine
- Ability to anticipate guests' needs and respond appropriately
- Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Pre-employment background check required
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States
