Job Summary
Provide a warm, engaging tasting room experience for Buttonwood Farm & Winery guests; educate guests about Buttonwood wines, vineyard history, and winemaking practices; conduct wine tastings and make thoughtful recommendations; process wine, merchandise, and club sales through the POS system; promote wine club memberships and events; maintain tasting room presentation and cleanliness; assist with inventory and opening/closing duties; support winery events and private tastings; collaborate with team to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a winery tasting room
- Weekend availability is required
- Strong hospitality and customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to comfortably speak with guests about wine and the winery experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional appearance and demeanor
