Job Summary
Tasker role at DHL Supply Chain focusing on warehouse operations and transportation support. Responsibilities include operating a computer, radio, and phone; communicating with associates, customers, and management via email; speaking with drivers on pickups and deliveries; working both inside and outside; inspecting trailers (seals, trailer numbers, temperature readouts, fuel levels); maintaining efficient operation and adherence to work rules; expediting transactions through the warehouse management system and supporting outbound, inbound, or parcel functions. Key duties involve planning, allocating, picking, manifesting, and closing daily waves of orders; monitoring workload with system screens; identifying overages/shortages/damages; scheduling inbound carriers and outbound shipments; generating and reviewing system reports; communicating with carriers to ensure seamless transactions; managing parcel exchanges from dock to carrier; resolving data transmission issues with IT/procurement; interfacing with IT for system-related barriers; ensuring clear turn-of-shift communications. Required education includes a High School Diploma or Equivalent, with preferred experience in warehousing, data entry/dispatch, and basic Excel skills.
Required Qualifications

- Six months warehouse experience, preferred
- 0-1 years experience in data entry and/or dispatch, preferred
- Basic understanding and application of Microsoft Excel, preferred
