Job Summary
Prioritize, schedule, and plan tasks for the assigned department while managing inbound and outbound freight schedules. Coordinate activities across shipping, receiving, and logistics teams, utilizing the warehouse management system to plan, allocate, pick, manifest, and close daily waves of orders. Monitor workload through system screens, generate shift progress reports, and audit sheets to track inventory issues such as overages, shorts, and damages. Communicate directly with carriers and customers to resolve data transmission failures and ensure seamless physical and systematic transactions. Oversee parcel shipment exchanges from the shipping dock to carrier trucks and maintain complete communication for turn-of-shift handoffs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Six months warehouse experience
- 0-1 years experience in data entry and/or dispatch
- Basic understanding and application of Microsoft Excel
- Experience using a commercial WMS (warehouse management system) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP, etc.
- Microsoft Office software, including Excel
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license

- This is a hands-on role that is spent most of shift out on the warehouse floor and moving to and from multiple areas of the building to include extended period of standing and walking
