Job Summary
Oversee daily Security Department operations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures while managing emergency response efforts and preparedness through regular training and drills. Conduct property inspections to identify risks, investigate incidents and guest complaints, and document findings for corrective actions. Lead the security team by hiring, training, and coaching staff, while maintaining relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services. Monitor security systems including CCTV and access control, and prepare accurate reports and incident logs. Promote a safe environment by delivering exceptional guest service and staying informed on industry trends to recommend operational improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years' experience as a Sales Manager in a hotel/resort environment
- Essential statistical and analytical skills required to identify revenue opportunities and shortfalls
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form with the public as well as other team members
- Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally to achieve goals
- Ability to thrive in a multi-tasked and fast-paced environment
- Availability to work when the events are happening, i.e. weekends, nights and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- SalesForce (Delphi) experience preferred
