Job Summary

Contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of youth initiatives, campaigns, and events while providing advice and insights to the Division Chair on youth perspectives. Represent the Australian Red Cross at key events such as World Red Cross Red Crescent Day and ANZAC Day, and collaborate with councillors, members, staff, and volunteers across states and territories. Provide guidance to Red Cross University clubs and societies, research key issues for reports, and track project progress. Serve on a 12-month, non-remunerated term requiring approximately 2–3 hours weekly, with ages 18–30.

Required Qualifications

  • Ages 18-30 years
  • Ready to use your voice to shape the future of Australian Red Cross
  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with a range of stakeholders
  • Leadership potential and willingness to contribute to governance discussions
  • Ability to manage commitments and work both independently and in a team
  • Interest or experience in project or event coordination
  • Passion for humanitarian work and making a difference
  • You will need to be a member of Australian Red Cross
  • Complete a National Police Check
  • Hold or obtain a Working With Vulnerable People check

Desired Qualifications
