Job Summary
Oversee the implementation of Tarleton Today through various systems and processes, managing the curriculum in Canvas as the instructor of record. Assess student performance, provide timely feedback, and evaluate learning outcomes to inform teaching practices and curriculum improvements while ensuring academic integrity. Support the professional growth of high school teachers by leading virtual conferences and meeting with staff to ensure fidelity of implementation. Mentor undergraduate students and participate in the necessary operation of the institution. This 10-month non-tenure-track position begins Fall 2026 at Tarleton State University's Stephenville campus.
Required Qualifications
- Earned masters degree in the teaching discipline from an accredited university
- Experience teaching in High School or Dual Credit courses
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Knowledge and understanding of disciplinary subject matter at a level adequate for graduate-level instruction
- Written and oral communication skills sufficient to conduct effective teaching and research activities
- Ability to interact with students, staff, and faculty in a professional, collegial, and collaborative manner
