Job Summary
Conduct intelligence analysis in support of joint targeting operations throughout the Joint Targeting Cycle. Develop, validate, and maintain target intelligence in support of operational plans and contingency operations. Collaborate with USPACOM J2, operational planners, and other intelligence organizations to identify, prioritize, and develop target nominations. Produce intelligence products supporting target system analysis, target development, and operational planning. Utilize intelligence databases, AI-enabled analytical tools, and visualization platforms to support mission requirements. Conduct research using multiple intelligence disciplines and open-source information to identify emerging threats and opportunities. Maintain and update target intelligence records and databases, including MIDB-related information. Support collateral damage estimation (CDE) and collateral damage assessment (CDA) activities when required. Coordinate with Joint Targeting organizations to ensure intelligence products comply with applicable targeting standards. Prepare and deliver written reports, briefings, and recommendations to senior military and government leadership. Support contingency planning, operational exercises, and real-world mission execution. Ensure intelligence products comply with applicable DoD directives, Intelligence Community standards, and customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a current Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting intelligence operations, targeting, or operational planning within the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community
- Experience supporting Joint Targeting, target development, or operational intelligence activities
- Demonstrated understanding of the Joint Targeting Cycle and target intelligence methodologies
- Experience supporting operational planning and intelligence integration
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to brief senior leadership
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting USPACOM, Joint Staff, or other Geographic Combatant Commands
- Experience supporting J2 Targeting (J2T) organizations
- Familiarity with CJCSI 3370 (Target Development Standards)
- Experience developing targets in support of operational and contingency plans
- Experience using Palantir, Project Maven, or other AI-enabled intelligence analysis platforms
- Experience utilizing or maintaining the Modernized Integrated Database (MIDB)
- Collateral Damage Estimation (CDE) and/or Collateral Damage Assessment (CDA) certification
- Experience serving as a Joint Target Intelligence instructor or trainer
- Familiarity with intelligence automation, machine learning, and emerging AI technologies supporting targeting missions
- Knowledge of Intelligence Community and Joint targeting doctrine, policies, and best practices
