Target Security Specialist

Target Security Specialist responsibilities include using intelligence-led tactics to prevent theft and ensure guest and team safety, crisis response and crowd management, de-escalation, operating Target's video surveillance, documenting incidents in the case management system, conducting merchandise receipted checks, and supporting store operations with a focus on ethical conduct, safety, and compliance. The role requires flexible scheduling (including nights, weekends, holidays), the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and strong communication and teamwork skills. A high school diploma or equivalent and being at least 18 years old are required. Training will cover security practices, policies, and the use of security technology and systems.
