Job Summary
Target Security Specialist responsible for assets protection, crisis response, and maintaining a safe, secure store environment. Responsibilities include using intelligence-led tactics to prevent theft, documenting incidents in case management systems, responding to security incidents with de-escalation and safety protocols, conducting merchandise receipt checks, leveraging Target's video surveillance system, and promoting a culture of safety and ethical conduct. Requires interaction with guests and team members, flexible scheduling, ability to handle fast-paced environments, and compliance with AP policies and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
- Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position
- Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays)
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 40 pounds
