Job Summary
Target Security Specialist responsible for asset protection, crisis response, de-escalation, and safety within a Target store; duties include using intelligence-led tactics, documenting incidents in case management systems, operating Target's video surveillance, conducting merchandise theft recoveries, preventing loss at the front of store, and supporting teammates while maintaining a secure shopping environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays)
- Ability to remain mobile and physically capable of lifting up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Effective communication skills
