Job Summary
Target Security Specialist responsible for asset protection and guest safety in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities include crisis response, crowd management, de-escalation, utilizing Target's video surveillance system, documenting incidents in the case management system, performing merchandise receipt checks, and supporting theft prevention while adhering to AP policies. The role requires strong customer service, teamwork, flexibility in scheduling, and the ability to follow safety policies and perform duties physically (lifting up to 40 pounds) as needed. Training provided; prior security or retail experience is beneficial but not mandatory. Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent and capable of operating technology equipment and scanners.
