Job Summary
Provide security and loss-prevention support at Target by leveraging intelligence-led tactics to protect guests, team members, and brand; manage crisis response, de-escalation, and crowd safety; operate Target’s video surveillance and case-management systems; perform merchandise receipt checks and theft-recovery tasks; maintain safe, secure store environments while delivering friendly guest interactions and supporting store operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed
- Effective communication skills
- Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Capable of physical activity including standing and walking for long periods and occasional lifting
- Drive safety and compliance with Target policies and procedures
- Desire to deliver an excellent guest experience
